Registering for Lessons

To sign up for tutoring services, please download and fill out the registration form. Contact Priscilla Chan at priscilla@insight4learning.com for further tutoring/editing inquiries as well as mailing address or fax information.

Payment Details

  Fees are paid monthly on the first week of each month.
  Cash, or make cheque payable to Priscilla Chan.
  Textbooks, if necessary, are an additional cost.
  Prepaid classes are transferable, but non-refundable.
 

Background & Writing Assessment

During the first lesson:
  The student will complete a short questionnaire on his/her reading and writing background.
  To determine the student's writing level, the student will complete a 30-minute diagnostic test.
  The student will bring his/her most recent school assignments for the instructor to look at.
 

Responsibility of Student

  The student is expected to complete his/her weekly homework. Homework will be verified at the beginning of each class.
 

Class Cancellations

  The student must give 24-hour advance notice if he/she cannot make it to class. If a class is to be cancelled due to sickness, please contact the instructor as soon as possible.
  "No-shows" (no advance notice) will be charged the cost of a full lesson.
  No more than one cancellation permitted per month unless under special circumstances
